The EU delegation at the #PatSim2025 simulation talks, has threatened war, the Russian head of delegation, flanked by the US head of delegation said in a press conference at the Ankara talks site at about 6:44 p.m. local time.

In the fourth of four meetings that Russia and EU have had during the talks, Russia said, the tone turned hostile. “Very unfortunately, in the most recent round of negotiations, Russia met with the EU. We came in good faith to discuss potential terms for a ceasefire. Quite reasonably, we told them that we cannot give up territory — including Crimea, Donestk and Luhansk — that has been part of Russia for the last decade.”

“We can’t give that up for a ceasefire,” the Russian head of delegation said.

But he said, it was the EU’s response that brings the region to the brink of war.

“They came around and said if you are not prepared to have a ceasefire then EU troops will be involved,” meaning even more than troops that are currently known to be in Kyiv. The EU delegation said, according to Russia “We would bring more EU troops.”

Russia said “This is an utterly unacceptable escalation of the war. This is madness. Russia would have to respond.”

“If you don’t accept our dictate, then war will come.”

When reached for comment about whether they were intending in the last round of talks with Russia to start a World War, the EU delegation was shocked, said no, and said they would speak more extensively with KNN on the matter soon.

A bit later, the Ukrainian delegation visited KNN headquarters, worried that other delegations were saying that Ukraine was starting a World War.

In the press conference, Russia and the U.S. said they had met and were in unison with Ukraine.

The Russians repeated the assertion that the EU was escalating the war. “Russia has no intentions of escalating this conflict. The Russian and Ukrainians delegations met, along with the U.S. .

The U.S. head of delegation then took the floor and said:

“The US, as we said earlier, is committed to peace. We have brought both russai and Ukraine to the table to negotiate a ceasefire. In no way does the U.S. support an escalation of this war between the parties.

The Russian talks with the EU were bilateral only. There was not a US delegation or rep in those talks, the parties confirmed.

The US head of delegation said: “The EU has pushed the US out and has made it clear that they do not want the United States’ support.”

” Progress has yet to be seen.”

When asked if the US was concerned about the possibility of the EU taking over the significant US military installations and weaponry located on EU soil, the head of delegation responded. “

“The EU taking over US weapons, arms, or any sort of supplies we have there would be an act of war. The US would not tolerate that. The US also doesn’t think EU would do that. US has tried on multiple occasions to reach out to the EU has declined all of our advances.”

Russia reiterated that it found the EU approach to be warlike. “This was not some rogue EU politician that lost his cool. We have very reliable intelligence that an EU invasion of Belarus is under discussion.”

Belarus is a sovereign nation with a close alliance to Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

The Russian delegation leader said the EU has been extremely hostile to us for several years over this. As we’ve tried to broach the topic, they have moved French and British troops to the Romanian-Ukrainian border.
