Located in Lexington, Kentucky, the University of Kentucky’s DanceBlue is a cherished tradition that combines philanthropy with a fun and exciting atmosphere. DanceBlue is a 24-hour no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon that hundreds of university students participate in every year. For 20 years now, DanceBlue has raised money for the Pediatric Oncology Outpatient Clinic at Kentucky Children’s Hospital.

This year, the marathon took place from March 29th to March 30th. Over 600 students participated, raising over $2.3 million for the kids. Since 2006, DanceBlue has raised over $20 million dollars, breaking their previous record each year. The DanceBlue Marathon will continue to take place annually, ’til the battle is won.
