On Wednesday, April 2nd, the Keeneland Association announced that they would be postponing their opening weekend races. On Friday, April 4th and Saturday April 5th, Keeneland’s opening for their Spring meet was supposed to take place.
Due to severe weather coming through Kentucky, Keeneland decided it was in their best interest to postpone these races until Monday and Tuesday of the following week. Due to the inconvenience, tickets purchased for opening weekend will be able to be redeemed at any meet throughout the season.
